Colour shift (again)
A ‘usual walk’ from Gara Rock round to Mill Bay and then along the coast back to Gara Rock. A grey blustery early August day that turned to rain as we walked. Warm and summery nevertheless, with no feeling of the melancholy of incipient autumn. We were however fairly soaked by the time we got back to the car – but not as much as others we passed along the way out for a summer stroll on the Coast Path in flip-flops and t-shirts.
The land is maturing with the year, as both beachscapes heave with high summer, bracken reaches above your head, paths close in, and colours shift earth-wards.
Let this one become a photo-essay.
